Roadmap to Referencing

for use with Harvard-UniSA Style referencing

Image or diagram

: Image/diagram/artwork (your own)

Description: A self-produced image, diagram or artwork.

  • Types of images and diagrams include photographs, tables, illustrations etc.
  • If you use an image that is your own and is unpublished, it is good practice to provide a phrase indicating the source, such as ‘Author's own year, unpublished’, in brackets underneath the image. However, you do not need to provide an entry in the reference list, as it is not a verifiable published source.
